Why the Fantasy AU??
When this ending sequence came out I fell absolutely in love, it combined medieval elements, with that slight fantasy vibe that I simply adore. Bakugou's style in particular gave me Barbarian vibes that appealed to my tabletop whims and made my excitement to make it a reality soar.
How I made this Cosplay:
The first part of this cosplay I tackled was the necklaces, using air-dry clay. I knew if I made any mistakes I would need extra time to fix them. For a full video breakdown, you can click here. The short story, however, Shape the clay, let it dry a few days, sand smooth and add battle damage/weathering, wipe clean, then paint!! Once all that's finished it's easy to turn them into full necklaces.
From here it was easy to move onto the rest, the Top is an asymmetrical ruffled top with side lace for closure, a simple cape with burnt holes, and unraveling edges. The armbands were embroidered before the sides were sewn closed and elastic was added to the top edge to keep them up.
Our shoes were another story as these were custom covered just for this cosplay.
Ending Thoughts
If I were to remake this cosplay I'd likely paint the armbands design and add some extra pouches to my belt. Holding my items was a bit difficult and I like having some autonomy when out on the con floor!!
