Why Cc??

I first saw Code Geass in Highschool and fell in love with Cc as a character. Her personality drew me in and her dynamic with Lelouch was wonderful. I wanted to start with the classic straight jacket that we saw her in the most during the show.

How I made this Cosplay:

Starting Cc’s suit was quite simple, beginning with a princess-lined bodysuit pattern. I drafted some minor modifications to adjust where it closed and the shape of the bodice portion. From here I made our fabric choices and collected materials. Neoprene is a wonderful fabric for white suits as it's quite opaque while still having some stretch. I prefer to get my neoprene from Fabric Wholesale Direct. To make our piping I used a 1/2 inch diameter rope with gray satin ribbon wrapped around it, I ended up making 10 yds. of piping and used nearly all of it.

Ending Thoughts

I absolutely adore this suit and can't wait to make more of Cc's outfits, though I will admit.....White fabric is a curse to work with and we have had some royally bad timing many times wearing this cosplay.
