I’ve spent nearly 50 hours working on these beads!! That's insane!! But, it’s been worth it to pick up a new skill!! I worked with an Air dry clay to sculpt each bead by hand before running them through with a nail to create the holes my string would go through. Once they dried, which took a few days for the larger beads, they were each sanded until smooth and had impurities carved into them. Once carved and wiped clean of dust I could finally paint them. The light blue and red each needed a couple of coats, after many layers, they had a nice even layer of their respective colors.

Finally, we moved on to making the actual necklaces, after threading all the beads with black bead nylon I capped the ends off with a crimping tube, and barrel clasp, and flattened them out. Once nice and secure the Crimp cover was added to give it that extra bit of polish! It took a few tries to get everything right, and I quickly learned doubling up my thread helped make the necklaces stronger.
